This paper deals with the curriculum resources and its exploitation and utilization of environmental education in kindergartens in Lanzhou city, adopting qualitative and quantitative research methods. It aims at:1. Investigating existing situation of curriculum resources of environmental education in kindergartens in Lanzhou city.2.Exploring the process of curriculum resources and its utilization of environmental education in kindergartens in Lanzhou and northwest China, according to curriculum reform of kindergarten and global environmental education, so as to expand the view of curriculum exploitation.The expanded conception of curriculum resources is introduced into this paper. It is the environmental education materials and necessary implemental condition.Teachers' consciousness and skill of exploitation of curriculum resources directly influence the quality of environmental education. The main findings of anterior research are as following:1.Teachers do not take themselves as curriculum designer and exploiter of curriculum resources, but only as conductor.2.Teachers take textbooks as sole curriculum resource and leave out many significant resources.3.Teachers fail to find out latent environmental education value from textbooks.Based on the above phenomena, this paper presents the following: analysis of the value of regional resource, textbooks and information resources so as to promote children' development and west sustainable development; exploration of the process to exploitation of curriculum resources and its utilization of environmental education in kindergartens in northwest China.
