The modern society, with keen competition and complex change, demmands talents with perfect diatheses whose bodies and minds are all healthy. But, for a long time, the traditional education in our country attaches little importance to cultivation and education of the students' healthy psychological qualities. As a result, the students cultivated can' t be able to cope with many complicated realistic problems in their living actively and optimistically.The students of primary and middle schools are in the period when their bodies and minds develop rapidly and personality traits are easily to shape. To cultivate the talents sound in mind with perfect diatheses the society demanding, the most effective and scientific approach is, at the stage of primary and middle schools, to guide the students' individual mind to the right directions to develop and perfect. Therefore, the mental health education of primary and middle schools becomes an essential and important subject in modern education.In recent years, the educators of Yanji City are actively seeking for scientific and effective approches and patterns of mental health education of primary and middle schools. In the thesis, we try to understand the present situations of mental health education of primary and middle schools in Yanji City through investigations. And starting from the realities of mental health education of primary and middle schools inYanji City , we sum up the successful experiences and find out the existing problems and drawbacks in the practice of education. Then we analyse the cause which gave birth to the problems and put forward some countermesures co improve and solve the problems.
