This text carries on a preliminary comparative research to junior middle school Chinese activity lesson that launches extensively in English teaching. The full text is divided into four parts.Part one is the preface. In our country's junior middleschool , a new reform--activity lesson has appeared inChinese and English teaching. The appearance of it has certain backgrounds and reasons.Part two clarifies something in common in Chinese and English activity courses. Junior middle school's Chinese and English activity courses are the embranchment of activity lesson, so they must have something in common. . This embodies in theories, essential features and organizational forms. In junior middle school, Chinese and English activity lesson's theories from philosophy, pedagogy and psychology still are the same. And they both adopt class activity and group activity--the two kind of basic organizational forms too.Part three clarifies the difference of activity course between Chinese and English teaching. Junior middle school Chinese and English activity lesson are two different study subjects of language, so there is some difference in the courses of real teaching. Activity choices of content are at first, points that technical ability trains focus on are different secondly, and uses of teaching methods are different thirdly.Part four discusses something that Chinese activity lesson can learn from English teaching. The purpose of compareis to learn from others. Though two kinds of activity lessonshave their own characteristics and advantages, we still can' t favor one and slight the other. But if Chinese teaching want to raise teaching quality, learn from foreign language teaching is an effective way.
