With the arrival of the 21st century, the basic education development history of our country has opened a new chapter too. As a basic discipline among them, the junior middle school moral lesson has unexceptionally become one of the subjects in this vigorous reform. The lesson plays an indispensable role in its molding of the students' sense of moral responsibility, its cultivation of their ability to adapt to the society, and its inspiration of their scientific methods and thinking modes. How to produce the greatest substantial results of the moral lesson and how to bring about the students' active learning and overall development are what each educator is faced with. This paper makes a special research on the activity-oriented teaching of the moral lesson in junior middle schools. And by means of investigation and analysis, summary of experience, and case study, the paper expounds the activity-oriented teaching from both theoretical and practical aspects with a view to offering some reference to the teaching of moral lessons in junior middle schools.This paper consists of three parts: Part One describes the necessity of the research on the activity-oriented teaching of the moral lesson in junior middle schools, analyzes its intension, characteristics and theoretical basis, and points out the significance of the advocating of the activity-oriented teaching. Part Two analyzes the current situation in the implementation of the activity teaching of the moral lesson in junior middle schools, focusing mainly on the problems and their causes, thus introducing the third part. The Third Part gives an overalldescription of the approach to the activity-oriented teaching of the moral lesson in junior middle schools, that is, a complete and detailed discussion of the teaching principles, the organization and implementation of teaching, the promotion of the teachers' quality, the assessment of teaching, and curriculum development.
