With the development of the educational reform and the quality-oriented education in China, constructing the sound moral personality has become more and more important. This thesis points out that constructing moral personality of senior high school students is affected not only by rational knowing, but also by irrational factors, such as emotion, volition, intuition and so on, by dealing with the investigation of the present situation of moral personality of students in Tianshui No.1 High School in the views of ethics, pedagogy, psychology and sociology; and by analyzing moral psychology and moral behaviors of students and teaching methods. Considering the features of moral personality of students and the patterns of their psychological and physical development, we think it necessary to adopt the soft management, which will help the senior students develop their stable and sound moral personality, and also help to improve the efficiency of our teaching work. Therefore, we suggest some solutions to the topic: create good circumstances, in which teachers and students are equal and respect each other; master the art of communicating with senior high school students; help them form good habits, and build good personality; strengthen their self -teaching; form a harmony, happy and upward psychological circumstances and improve the personal captivation of managers. In order to seek the good way of building the moral characters of senior students, we also put forward 6 basic principles: the intention is more important than the form; the psychological factors are more important than physical factors; affirmation is more important than negation; an individual is more important than a group; teaching is more important than restraining; behavior is more important than words.
