Research Learning has just been carried out as a totally new curriculum in our province in the part few years . For lack of ripe theory and rich experience ,the History Research Learning in Fuzhou senior middle schools is still at an early stage - a stage of grope . Through the questionaire of 40 history teachers from ten senior middle schools of Fuzhou and about 200 students from three schools who have attended the History Research Learning , I now have a general idea of both the present situation and the problems of History Research Learning in Fuzhou . The thesis researches into the causes of the problems and probes into the ways to solve them both in theory and in practice . I think that the execution of History Research Learning should be based on advanced educational theory-attch importance to the diversity of students' pluralistic intelligence structure and teach students in accordance with their aptitude ;on the other hand , we should discard traditional education and lay stress on the formation and reconstruction of knowledge so as to realize the innovation of education .At the same time , I have a strong feeling that Research Learning requires the understanding and support of the whole nation . In the course of the Project Research on History , the students' grope on their own and the teachers' guidance and supervision should be embodied in every aspect of the choice , the execution and the evaluation of a project. In the future , the quality of teachers and the construction of the system of the society's support are the keys to the considerable development of Research Learning . The purpose of the thesis is to fit in the needs of modern education , transform the patterns of traditional teaching and cultivate the new talented people who can blaze new trails and have remarkable abilities in practice ,hence it may be of some help to the teachers and students who will take part in History Research Learning in future .
