After analyzing reality cases from educational practical and data of questionnaires, this paper analyzes the difference of historic creative ability between middle school students in Sanyuan district and the reasons.This paper is divided into four parts. In the first part, the author inquires the theoretical source of testing form on the creating consciousness of middle school student "and" testing form on the reasons for the creating consciousness of middle school student. In the second part, by survey and case study, according to the difference of the character of historic creative ability and the difference of creative personality between middle school students in urban and rural areas in Sanyuan district, the author interprets the difference of historic creative ability between the two areas. By analyzing the difference of educational thoughts, teacher quality and the measures which has been taken to develop creative ability between parents and teachers in urban and rural areas the third part inquires the reasons for the difference .The fourth part is the strategies and methods for improving historic creative ability. It is necessary for urban area to reform the enrollment system of imperial exam. Only in doing so, we can prevent parents from over pursuing success and improve middle school students' creative ability. As far as rural area is concern, we should take various measures such as building up a group of historic teachers, who are full of historic creative personality. Owing to the measures mentioned above, there is no doubt that we can develop middle school students' historic creative ability.
