When the system management rose in the 1960s , manager began to recognized it as an effective approach. The system is combined by some interkniting and interworking elements, and bears specially functional integer. The school of system management considers that corporation is a system which is constituted by interkniting and interworking hypo-system, and can achieve some goal. This system and its environmental circumstance occur dynamic interwork, and have information feedback network, so this system can adjust by himself constantly and adapt the demand of circumstance and per se.In the late of 1990s, China implements the reform of the curriculum policy, follows with the building of three-level administrative system, and the schools hold the power of the curriculum development. School-based curriculum development is a dynamic system, which is based by school, and which absorbs many managers, such as headmasters, teachers, students, parents and community groups to participate and make decision. This system involves many resources, such as manpower, material resources, financial resources, time, vacuum, and information, it also involves some system action, such as plan, organize, lead, and control. So only the system approach can manage these segments, and the school must use the system management of corporation for reference to enhance the effectivity of the management of school-based curriculum development. The system management make the managers of school-based curriculum development recognize that because they pay attention to some especial function of some special domain, they ignore the goal of the curriculum development, and their statue and function in the curriculum development. The system management in school-based curriculum development combines some resources which have no contact with a whole system, which can achieve the goal of the curriculum development. Due to these reasons, the system management in school-based curriculum development becomes the topic of my study, and this thesis tries to solve the problem: how to effectively system management in the process of school-based curriculum development in china at present.This thesis aims to solve practical problem in present education. So it tends to offer a research method which combines theoretical study and practice study. The thesis consists of three sections. The first section is systematism of the school-based curriculum development. It deals with the theoretical and practical base of the system management in school-based curriculum development. The second sectionanalyses the system management in school-based curriculum development, It deals with the systems analysis on the condition of the SBCD; the system management on the curriculum programming; the system management on curriculum implement; the system management on curriculum evaluation. The third section discusses the problems in the system management in practice.
