The quasi-military school management is an optional management innovation,which is a reform of the single mode of running schools. It features the more actualeffect on the ductility of students and can construct a consolidated quality platform forthe overall development of students. It has certain theoretical value and practicalsignificance for the secondary vocational schools in the social transition period. In the socialist market economy system, the secondary vocational schools facethe serious challenge of student shortage crisis and the overall undesirable quality ofstudents due the current competition mechanism. During the unusual times, theintroduction of the quasi-military school management mode is the result of both themarket mechanism and the need of student behavior regulation. It is also one of themethods taken by the secondary vocational school for putting an end of difficulty andgetting sustainable development; it caters the wishes of the society and the parents aswell as the urgent upgrading need of the comprehensive quality such as ideological,moral and psychological quality of the students. It is a practicable and positive modefor cultivate the creativity spirit and practical ability featuring the dual effect on boththe school and the student individual. At the same time, the author point out that themodern quasi-military school management system based on the student can beconstructed. This article first discusses the issues such as definition, characteristic, currentsituation and application conditions of the quasi-military school management and thenput forward some relative basic concepts. Meanwhile, the necessity and reality of thequasi-military school management introduction are analyzed and the feasibility isstressed. The qualitative and the quantitative analyze is conducted based on thestatistical knowledge based on the several effects of the quasi-military schoolmanagement on the development of the overall quality of the students, the wholebenefits improvement of the school and the values to the society in connection withthe statistical data to demonstrate both from the theory and practice. Apart from theaffirmation of the positive effect, the negative effect is stated in order to pursue thebenefits and avoid the disadvantages as well as to handle different relations. Thisarticle point out that the introduction of the quasi-military management system as amanagement method will achieve the expectations of the school management. Afterthat, the construction and operation of the ideal quasi-military school is proposed andthe concrete plans are tentatively designed from different aspects. Finally, severalissues in the secondary quasi-military school management are analyzed briefly.
