Incorporation of higher educational institutions is a big measure for deepening the reform of university management system. It has contributed greatly to the optimization of educational structure, the upgrading of efficiency, as well as to permeation of science and art. And it has great impact on both universities and the reform and advancement of national higher education with its distinct revolutionary features. However, it also provokes many new problems.This thesis attempts to address such problems and makes a systematic discussion on the organizational culture and management of universities. In addition to the introductory, the thesis consists of the following parts:First, it defines the term of organizational culture of incorporated universities, and then discusses the basic content, structure, features and functions of it. It also demonstrates the particularity of organizational culture of united universities.Then, it makes an analysis on the current situation in organizational culture build incorporated universities. It also treats the multiple considerations in the build. Generic ones comprise such factors in both spiritual, institutional and material aspects, while specific ones involves the mode and style of incorporation, traditional heritage of the university, capacities of its faculty and its comprehensive power. The article points out that the building is conducive to the solution of a categories of problems, ranging from plural values to intensity in personal relations, from low working motives to ill general image. Accordingly, the thesis argues that there is urgent need to unfold the building of organizational culture in integrated universities and stresses the special imports of organizational culture reconstruction in such universities.Finally, it explores the guiding principles and practical procedures for the build. It maintains that the construction should follow the principles of integrity, originality, multiformity and so on. It holds that a good comprehension of the crucesof subject building is indispensable and a number of efficient, systematic steps with distinct features should be taken.In brief, the thesis strives to be original in subject selection, argumentation and counter-measures. In the dealing with the new phenomenon of university incorporation, it takes a new perspective of organizational culture build, instead of a conventional economic or institutional analysis, and advances some fruitful approaches on the basis of prudent consideration. Thus they are hoped to be of some enlightenment value to the course of university incorporation and the system reform.
