Responding to meet the challenges of New Century Education, School-based curriculum development is a must for schools to carry out quality-based education, a basic project for schools to give full play their priorities an features, to participate in national innovation items, to promote students' harmony development, a further social'development, to cultivate talents for New Century. School-based curriculum with clear teaching aims, divers teaching contents, flexible teaching designs will enable students to develop personalities and a timely remedy, stimulate their potentials, form the abilities of information collecting and reprocessing, reinforce emotional experiences, learn how to learn, how to cooperate and mould their sound minds and bodies.This paper studies the outlines of school-based curriculum development in Senior Chinese Course which based on the summary of the theories and relative practices in and out of China and on our school's specific situation and puts them into practice.The author hopes to put forward meaningful practice about school-based curriculum.
