Over the reform of China, and with the rapid development of education, the education on beauty and art has been increasingly emphasized, and the music education, being an important means of putting beauty education into effect, has been put in the leading of the importance, and great achievements have been attained in many aspects such as education and research. Nevertheless, the music education in rural primary school, being the base of quality education, remains lonely, and is asynchronic with our quality education time.The paper has the investigation of the current situation on education sense, education facilities, the structure, quality and management of teachers in 175 rural primary schools in Hunan, and has a analyses of the subjective and objective factors in the existence of the situation. In order to improve the music education of rural primary schools, based on the special rural environment of economic and culture, the paper also puts forward the personal opinions on the changing of education model, the increasing of education input, especially to the rural area, the construction of the contingent of teachers, and so on. The goal of the paper is to help with the sustainable development and developable of the education model of the music education of rural primary schools of Hunan as well as the whole country.
