The focus of China's new century education is to train student's innovation ability. In which composition teaching, one of the most important elements of Chinese teaching, is of its rich connotations and unique advantages. It's necessary for us to optimize the teaching environment, process, training form and correcting method so as to train pupil's innovation ability and to lay down a good foundation for their overall and life-time development. Firstly optimizing composition teaching is the precondition, which means creating a free open living environment, a good atmosphere of Chinese instruction arid a good mood of student's initiative writing. Secondly, optimizing the teaching process is the decisive factor, which advocates opening first and drawing second, opening more and drawing less, writing first and guiding second, and their interaction. Thirdly, optimizing writing form is the emphasis, whichrequires cultivation of student's divergent thought, intuitive thought and their imagination by the way of multi-direction writing, prompt writing and imaginative writing. Last, optimizing the correcting method is the guarantee, which requires student's communication and cooperation, student's correcting each other, inspiration by choosing the excellent, and adaptation more and correction less.
