Innovation is the original motive force of social development and world progress. Innovation consciousness and innovation ability is the core qualification of talents of twenty first century. Cultivating Chinese with innovation consciousness and innovation ability has become the subject of common concern of all the countries in the world in education circle. School teaching work bears the main task of cultivating talents with innovation ability. Composition teaching, as the important part of school teaching, under the current great background of innovation education is active in Chinese language teaching field with the idea of innovation composition teaching.When students are using their minds to write compositions, the process of students'thinking independently, breaking free from convention, weeding through the old to bring forth the new, expressing their unique thoughts through words is just the process of cultivating innovation minds and innovating ability ,so composition teaching can better embody human being's innovation in thoughts. Focusing on innovation composition teaching is the key point of cultivating talents with innovation ability. The importance of innovation composition teaching in school teaching can not be ignored absolutely.In the 80s of last century in china, Chinese language education circle began to attach their importance to the study of innovation composition. In middle schools, many effectively-used training methods appeared, and a large quantity of excellent compositions which fully embody innovation minds emerged. What it has achieved is noticeable. In vocational schools, however, because of different kinds of reasons, innovation composition teaching has not been carried out in large scale. Composition teaching model is still out of date. It is really necessary for vocational schools to carry out the study of innovation composition teaching. The training of innovation composition can not only improve students'writing interests, but also plays an important role in cultivating innovation qualities such as observation, imagination, comprehension to the reading materials, seeking novelty and difference. It is a very good way to cultivate future modernizers'comprehensive qualifications.This assay aims at, from the angle of theory, seeking basis for innovation composition teaching in vocational Chinese language teaching to carry out study, going further into and analyzing the necessity ,the situation of its being carried out, its strategy of innovation composition teaching in vocational education field, pondering over the problems which were met while it is being practiced. A large quantity of teaching activities and what has been achieved show that innovation composition teaching plays an active role in cultivating innovation minds, innovation ability of vocational school students, improving vocational school students'level of Chinese language. The reform of composition teaching methods which is conducted according to teaching law, students'cognition law can absolutely cultivate students'innovation consciousness in vocational school, which can result in innovation compositions written by students whose base of language is low in vocational school.
