This paper, as the part of Shantung programming subject--Research onthe System of Teaching-learning Models and Curricula of Continuing Education on Elementary and Secondary Teachers in Shantung, belongs to applied research. Its aim is to improve and optimize the teaching-learning models of continuing education on Shantung elementary and secondary teachers, by analyzing the status quo of elementary and secondary teachers and general society developing level in Shantung province, for education department and organization, to make the education policy and guide continuing education on Shantung elementary and secondary teachers.The article is centered on the topic--The Teaching-learning Models ofContinuing Education on Shantung Elementary and Secondary teachers, consists of five parts.Part one, to definite some concepts about the teaching-learning models of continuing education on Shantung elementary and secondary teachers.To explain its applied area and construct factors by analyzing the concepts-Continuing Education, continuing education on elementary and secondary teachers, model, teaching-learning model, so academic base forfollowing research is founded.Part two, to compare domestic and abroad teaching-learning models of continuing education on elementary and secondary teachers.Firstly, to summarize domestic the teaching-learning models in teachers education fields since 80s years. Then to introduce some advanced, practicable, popular, efficient teaching-learning models and to analyze their merit, demerit, applied area and characteristics by comparison.Part three, to analyze the bases of optimization of teaching-learning models of continuing education on Shantung elementary and secondary teachers.Firstly, to analyze the influence factors and general principle of application to teaching-learning models of continuing education on Shantung elementary and secondary teachers. Then to induce the bases of their optimization according to forenamed analysis from macroscopical and microscopical points of view.Part four, to analyze the status quo of Shantung elementary and secondary teachers.Firstly, to reveal the need to teaching-learning models by analyzing the status quo of Shantung elementary and secondary teachers according to the data which are collected myself, such as, area distribution, structure of education level, age and specialty.Part five, to optimize the teaching-learning models of continuing education on Shantung elementary and secondary teachers.Firstly, to analyze the status quo and demerit of the teaching-learning models of continuing education on Shantung elementary and secondary teachers based on abundance of investigation. Then to put forward some detailed optimizing measures aiming at scientific bases, advanced teaching-learning experience, status quo of teachers, construct factors of teaching-learning models, etc.
