The further education of elementary and secondary school teachers is an important way to realize the idea of life-long education and improve the qualities of teachers. Furthermore, the validity of teachers' further education has very close relationship with teachers' real demand. As a result, in the era of developing the training scheme of elementary and secondary school teachers, it would have both theoretical and practical value.This essay tries to analyze the related problems of the demand of the further education of elementary and secondary school teachers in the areas of minorities in Yunnan Province through some ways, such as comprehensive analysis, investigation and document. In the process of analyzing, we first discuss the related theory of teacher's further education through the analysis of documents; then, we make investigations and analyze the statistics of the current situation, the requirements and the main factors that influence the further education of the further education of elementary and secondary school teachers in the area of minorities in Yunnan Province. From the analysis of statistics, we know that although those teachers devote much emotion into their career, there are a series of problems they cannot solve by themselves existing in their jobs, such as the problem of teaching skills, the problem of the knowledge required by their major and the problem of pressure, etc; therefore, they are eager to improve their own qualities and the ability of solving problems through further education, since further education is essential to them, for example, the trainer could guide the teachers to search; the content of further education accords with the practical work and what's more is that you can adopt proper way to take further education, etc.In addition, through our research, we also find that there are many problem existing in the further education of elementary and secondary school teachers in the area of minorities in Yunnan Province: 1. Teachers do not have enough satisfaction towards further education here; 2. Ideas of training are old-fashioned and ways of training are monotonous; 3. Courses of training are beyond the needs of teachers and the requirements of the practical work. The following suggestions are offered based on the analysis of our research: Renew the thoughts of those teachers and make them to understand further education correctly in order to encourage them to learn new things actively; Find out teachers' demand and make the aim of further education clear; Focus on the training of outstanding teachers and try to encourage all teachers to take part in ; Carrying out the training mainly by being released from those teachers' regular work and attached by self-learning; Pay enough attention on the trainers' training and put more emphasis on the consciousness of the quality of further education.
