The purpose of this study is to explore the theory and case analysis on teaching management in Elementary and Secondary School in China and seek the enlightenment on innovation in teaching management.With the coming of 21st century, education in China is forging ahead toward the modernization. There are radical changes in the field of the concept of education, the pattern of education, the content of education, the technology of education, the system of education and the management of education.Quality Education in China now needs a proper teaching management system. But this system won't appear automatically. It needs the teaching managers to connect teaching theory with teaching practice. A teacher should not only be a teacher but a researcher as well.Besides the forward and the conclusion, the thesis consists of two parts.Part One explores in depth the relative and key terms of teaching management, such as the standard and innovation in teaching management. Then it analyzes the current situation of teaching management in Elementary and Secondary School. Furthermore, it puts forward the urgency and necessity of the innovation in teaching management in Elementary and Secondary School.Part Two is grounded on the case analysis and research on innovation in teaching management in Elementary and Secondary School. These analysis and research consist of the reform of the credit system, the mobility of class system, the flexibility of class hour, the variety of class seat system, the innovation of class teaching management. Through the case analysis and research, it compares the differences between the old and the new pattern in every field mentioned above. And it makes suggestions to improve the innovation in teaching management.
