Physics conception is an important part and basis of physics. Physics is a strict reasonable logical system, which consists of physical concepts, physical laws and physical theorems. If you hope to learn and teach physics better, you must learn and teach physical concepts seriously. Knowing physical concepts well and correctly is the important premise and guarantee to learn physics well.In this paper, we mainly study the two problems of teaching and learning physics conception in basic physics, which is relate to Physics of middle school as well as the physics knowledge in the Course Nature of elementary school and General Physics of college. Physics conception is the important and difficult teaching factor in basic physics. Also, it is one of the weak links in physics teaching. In the basic physics teaching, the physics conception learning and teaching are often neglected but the tactics of Exercises Sea and the method of guessing questions are often used instead. Because no important reform has occurred in university enrollment examination so far, the study of teaching physics conception is significant in practice. On the other hand, along with the development of pedagogy and psychology, many basic theoretical problems in physics conception teaching are worth probing and studying. Teaching physics conception well is the key to the successful teaching in basic physics is significant in both theory and practice.In our study, the method of document investigation and the method of cycle of practice-theory-practice are used. The process of recognition of physics conception teaching is expounded and some practical methods are put forward, with the study of the combination of teaching theories and practice. These methods are maybe of some value as reference for physics teachers in the physics conception teaching. We have the following main conclusions: when we introduce physics conception, we must pay attention to its scientific property; when physics conception is formed, we must notice its enlightenment property; when we analyze physics conception, we must take note of its strict property; when physics conception is consolidated, we must lay stress on its frequent property.
