A Research On The Cultivation Of New Teachers In Middle School

Building a high-quality teachers' team can ensure the fulfilling of quality-oriented education. In "The Acting Project of Education-reviving Facing the 21sl Century", the Ministry of Education has made it clear that teachers should be trained and developed to fit the need of the new century. The new middle school teachers referred in this paper are those who just graduated from college and for the first time went to the platform. They are fresh force for basic education and the hope of education.How to shorten the time for college graduates to fit the society and make them be qualified for the job of being a middle school teacher is an important problem which is worth our consideration. This paper analyses the present condition of college graduates from four aspects: the quality of professional morality, their teaching ability, their knowledge structure and their psychological quality. Comparing the quality that 21st century teachers should have, this paper proposes methods for training new teachers by the reforming in teachers' training education, the reinforcing of teachers' morality, post training, development of the creativity and psychological education.
