At present, the curriculum reform in the elementary education has come to experimental stage in most part of China. And the gravity of curriculum implementation has revealed itself increasingly. A group of teachers with high diathesis suitable for the new course teaching is required to execute the new course successfully. So, the subject about the teacher's diathesis has become a focus of concern increasingly. What is the present condition of the physics teacher's diathesis? What are the requirements for the teacher's diathesis according to the physics new curriculum? What are the effective ways through which teacher's diathesis can be improved? All these questions are urgent to be solved at present. According to the great amount of literature read by the author, studies on the physics teacher's diathesis are very few and studies on the diathesis structure for physics teachers to implement the new curriculum have never been seen yet so far. Therefore, the study on this topic is not only of necessity, but also of great theoretical and practical value. There are five parts concerning this paper, which are as follows:Part I, the summary; This part discuses the connotation of the diathesis structure, the methodology to study the structure of teacher's diathesis, the history and present situation of the study on the teacher's diathesis, the background and the significance of the study and so on.Part II, the investigative study; Based on the analysis of literature, the author formulated a questionnaire to investigate 150 physics teachers in Xi'an district, Yu Lin district, XianYang district of ShaanXi Province. We did the statistical analysis of the investigation result, concluded the features of the present condition of the structure of physics teacher's diathesis compared with the requirement of the new curriculum, which are as follows: comparatively laggard educational ideas, less reasonable knowledge structure, much more emphasis on specialty knowledge in physics textbook while less attention to mastery of scientific educational knowledge, an especial scarcity of the modem scientific educational knowledge and so on. The teaching skill loses itsbalance. The skill to instill the physics knowledge to students takes over the very important position. The structure of capacity can't feed the demand of the new curriculum teaching. The capacity of research and the capacity to use the modern technology of education are famine. There still much room to improve their quality in body and mind.Part III, the comparative study; The author makes some detailed comparisons between the traditional curriculum and the new curriculum from many aspects such as "The physics curriculum criterion" and "The physics teaching syllabus", the idea of teaching, the idea of assessment and the idea of teacher-student relationship, and so on. Thus the author finds out the different requirement for physics teacher's diathesis caused by the difference between the new curriculum & the traditional curriculum, which provided the theoretical evidence for reconstructing the structure of physics teacher's diathesis.Part IV, the constructing of model; Based on the present situation, the author reconstructed the "hexahedron" model of the physics teacher's diathesis structure, which aims for the requirement for the physics teacher's diathesis caused by the new curriculum. The contents of the model are as follows:The advanced idea of education; The transition of teaching idea decides on the transition of educational attitude and. behavior. The new curriculum requires that physics teachers have the following educational ideas: "students-oriented", "based on the life experience & concerning about the recent development in science and technology "in physics teaching, concerning more about "the scientific exploration" and "equality & conversation", concerning "development" in teaching evaluation, etc.The reasonable knowledge structure; The new curriculum requires that the physics teachers have the scientific & cultural knowledge, the physics specialty...
