The study focused on novice, proficient and expert teachers from high school then chose subjective well-being questionnaire and teachers' teaching motivation questionnaire to examine different teachers' subjective well-being and their teaching motivation. Meanwhile the impact of teaching motivation on different teachers was discussed. The result indicated that nowadays the subjective well-being and teaching motivation of high school teachers were in the high level; the internal teaching motivation was an effective variable to influence subjective well-being, therefore improving teaching motivation would enhance teachers' subjective well-being; with the growth of teachers, the external motivation would transform into internal motivation; teachers' internal motivation would forecast subjective well-being and it was an important factor to improve subjective well-being; The subjective well-being of novice teachers was high and their motivation was external, so improving their external motivation would effectively enhance their subjective well-being and growth; proficient teachers were in the dilemma and we can impetus their growth through the enhancement of internal motivation; subjective well-being and teaching motivation of expert teachers were all high, then the internal and external teaching motivation would contribute to the improvement of their subjective well-being.
