How to enable the effectiveness of moral education is a problem of great urgency to be settled HI college moral cducaiion ai present. The article begins with some factors thai have bad influence on effectiveness in college moral education and the challenge encountered in college morai education in the new age In accordance with Marxist fundamental theories abort man s all-round development and human nature, the author iays great emphasis on the essence and structure of morals and the essence and function of moral education. Based on this, the article asserts that the solution to increasing effectiveness of moral education lies in Subjectivity and standardization in moral education.The uitimate objective of moral education is to bring up moral suhiects However , we should not exaggcate subjectivity by complctely excluding standardization in moral education ,for the moral itself reflects the inner unity of subjectivity and standardization. Moral education will never free itself from the moral's social function. In addition, without standard moral education, we cannot bring up the real moral subjects. Therefore, college moral education shonld be the unity of subjectivity ana standardization The article clearly explains the baste essences of subject-oriented moral education and standard moral education and briefly analyses some problems lying in the process of implementation of them.
