In the essay, Development of Chinese pupils' evaluation is divided into 2 periods with the time as the clue: 1.In 1980s, Development of Chinese pupils' evaluation (1978-1990);2. In 1990s, Development of Chinese pupils' evaluation (1990-2004).On the basis of the about analysis,The essay is systematic research and analysis on the background,the guiding viewpoints and the main contents and feature of the development of Chinese pupils' evaluation. As the same time, The author analysizes examination's subject of primary school and evaluation's summary since 1990s. Showing contents and thinking of the development of Chinese pupils' evaluation from on the other hand.Based on analysing the historical datum,we believe that the two stage of the development of pupils' evaluation show obvious characteristic. In the 1980s,the development of pupils' evaluation seeks after scientific character of evaluation.;In the 1990s,the development of pupils' evaluation seeks after humanitical character of evaluation.We believe that the performance of pupils' evaluation must seeks after essence of the evaluation,instead of imitates aspect of the evaluation;that reform of the evaluation and curriculum must in step;that we must pay attention to reform of evaluation's thinking;that we must pay attention to effection of the tradition;that we must shrink distance of between idealism and reality in the reform of evaluation;that we must better deal with relation between succession and innovation;that we must reinforce the research of theoretical introduction and indigenization of abroad pupils' evaluation...
