The unified examination for higher education is prominent for its scientific proposition, integral management as well as its fair examinational principle, which contributes to its popularity for a pure land. But recently this pure land has been contaminated by cheating, something like an apparition haunted over the unified examination for the higher education and can not to be eradicated. In order to maintain the solemnity and authority of the examination, the tightening of its principle has become the focus of the public. As a result it is significantly vital to make a complete research into the cheating in the examination.The thesis is composed of three parts.The first part is an introduction to the general theories involved, an interpretation to the essence, goal and duty of higher education, an appreciation to the essence, principles and function of the unified examination, an explanation to the cheating and abusive acts in the examination. All of those will make the research more detailed and visualized.The second part is an analysis of the current situation of the cheating in the unified examination, which happens many a time with its methods diversified, motivation sophisticated, participants widespread and the cheating itself publicized. There are causes both objectively and subjectively. The major course is the poor virtue embedded in the examinees, which gives rise to their distorted attitude towards the examination and bring about the cheating behavior. The objective reason is that the disgraceful examinational convention is quite prevalent. The unified examination of higher education itself has harbored strong material gains and utilities, been powerless before cheating and lacks of a legislative basis. The cheaters not only undermine the authority and solemnity of higher education, but lead to a severe hazards in society as well.The last part, which is the. core of the thesis, mainly concerns about the prevention and countermeasures to cheating. First, we should perfect the current prevention systems, eradicate the former chaos in the past prevention system. Onlyby doing this can we improve the current prevention system. The following countermeasures are strongly recommended: strengthen the spiritual construction among the examinees, devise an unified managerial regulations, promote the training of the clerks, effectively enhance the credit of the higher education. Then, intensify the curb of the examination, lay out the rules and improve the controlling base, propose a scientific and confidential solution the preserve the secrecy of the papers, attach great importance to the construction of the examiners. Furthermore we should act this on a legislative basis, on which we can spread a general governing to the examination. To put it in details: see to the administrative affairs, strengthen the legislative acts, management work and publicity; utilize the modern technology to prevent the cheating. Though there are still cheating hanging over the unified examinations, the credit of it will surely be restored by means of general remedy and perfection, increasing solemnity, in examining rules and the establishment of efficient examinational system.The findings of the subjects chiefly involved in the research into self-study examination, adult education examination and college entrance examination, which are independently probed. This thesis attempts to analyze the cheating in a systematic way and entails a certain amount of scientific sense and preciseness. Besides, the thesis put forward the anti-cheating system as a key part and clearly defines the quality of cheating in the exam, that is an abusive act against law and regulations. In the probing of the countermeasures of cheating, the thesis creatively brings out five principles, that is: principle of acting on a humane basis, principle of effectiveness, principle of justice and fairness, principle of treatment into causes and symptoms and the principle of feasibility.
