With the arrival of economic era and information-based society, and the educational revolution of the world range brought from this, there are more and more demands for education as well as increasingly high expectations for quality of education. Obviously, the demand for high-quality talents is becoming stronger and stronger. The competition between nations is talents' competition. The cultivation of high-quality talents can not do without the education with high-efficiency and high quality. Therefore, education in itself should keep up with the era and set up the head of trend of the times. The information-intensive society needs informational education. The development of the information technology has not weakened teachers' function. On the contrary, teachers' role in future education will be complicated further because the education in the future will be far complicated. Therefore, Teachers whose jobs are training talents need to have higher quality and ability which include not only professional discipline quality and ability but also the overall qualities with modern education technology inclusive. As is known to us all, teachers' role in education has changed because of the development of the information technology and the application of the new study way. Thus, the emphasis point of the requirement of teachers' literacy has changed. As normal universities and colleges training future teachers for play a significant role in the future development of the nation, it is necessary for these institutions to be aware of how to train high-quality teachers to meet the needs of future education.This paper tries to study modern education technology literacy and ability which future teachers should have as well as the ways to cultivate such literacy and ability. It points out that information technology literacy is the main content and the key of present modern education, after analyzing the essence, the characteristic, and the forming of information literacy. On the basis of this brief analysis, the paper puts forward some train of thought and the scheme concerning course content and teaching system of public coursewhich is designed for training high-to-be students' modern education technology literacy and ability. Finally, the paper has established detailed course standard and appraisal system, practice-linked teaching arrangement, teaching websites and the fictitious construction scheme of study environment and reform measures of the teaching method in experiment.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the paper falls into four chapters. The following is the outline of what will be done in each of the successive chapters. The first chapter is intended to give a brief analysis of the current situation of the modern public course of education technology and existing problems, the situation of educational development, the requirement of teachers' quality and its impact on modern education technology.Chapter two starts with concept and development of modern education, followed by the analysis of modern education technology's idea and literacy which future teacher should have. And it points out that information literacy is the focal point, the new demand for education of the social development, and a need of development of the new era. Then the paper analyses the composition of information literacy, particularly the forming and cultivation of information literacy as well as the modern status, function and characteristic of education technology in the course system which aims to train the information literacy of students in normal universities and colleges.The third chapter dwells on the reform thinking of course in modern education technology, proposing that course reform should meet the needs of new study way, serve for the new course reform of basic education in the country nation and fully reflect the merger of the information technology and discipline teaching so as to build an opening content system, promote the move of learning, and train students' sensitiveness to technology.The fourth chapter presents the...
