This paper tends to study on information technology and course integration.In the first place, this paper illustrates the purpose and significance of the research, as well as the process and inclination in this field. In china, the computer applied to teaching begins with CIA (Cornputer Assisted Instruction). The theory and practice of CIA plays certain role in teaching, it remedies the limitation of traditional teaching. But along with its development, problems also come forth. In some people's opinion, CIA equals to multimedia teaching, furthermore, it cann't be said as modern teaching without computer, as if CIA becomes a kind of adornment, regardless of its positive effect on students. But the fact is, the information technology of computer should be the tool of the teachers and students in their life, whether learning or teaching, like blackboard and paper, chalk and pen to them, instead of limiting to CIA.In the second place, according to the theory of modern teaching and constructivism, the design about chemistry teaching which is applied to related teaching, has been constructed in this paper, based on the information technology and course integration. Furthermore, it has been proved to improve the ability of the students in their independent-learning, in the meantime it has been practically used as their learning tool.In the end, this paper mentions the experience and cognition of the author in the process of studying.
