1.The aims: the consumption is an important part of the living consumption of current college students. The consumption on the sports is a potential market that cannot be overlooked. At the same time, the physical education in our country takes the "health is the first" as the instructional idea. Those students who are studying in the occupational college are adolescent. Their demands to the consumption on the sports are not isolated economic problems but the problems of school education and society that are connected with their health and all-sided development. During this time, they have particular interest in some exercises and they are the main consuming group on the sports products, labors, and services. It is significant to research their demands, levels, motivation -structure and the influencing factors of the consumption on the sports. By this, we can cooperated with the reform on the college physical education effectively and reasonably and carry out the instructional idea "healthy is the first". So the students can form the good habits in the consumption on the sports and realize their ultimate goals of this consumption that is the all-round development of body, psychology, and social adaptation. There are no investigative documents on the current situation and estimate countermeasures of the consumption on the sports of the college students in Jiangxi or the countermeasures and the reciprocal development of the consumption and the college physical education.2.The objects: the art and science students studying in the second and third year in Jiangxi industry and technical college, Jiangxi Bluesky college and Jiangxi Science University. The average ages of the boys are 17.6±1.2 and those of the girls are 16.8 ± 1.2.3.The means: questionnaire, statistics, document.4.The conclusion: 1) the motivation and the goals of the consumption of the occupational college students in Jiangxi are mainly for entertainment and healthy. Especially the products consuming plays a main role. The college students are in paradoxical psychology in the consumption and whether to pay for the extracurricular activities. Although this consumption market is promising, but the students' intention to the higher expenditure exercises are still low. 2) The viewpoints that the students consume the sports products need improving. At present the factors that influence the students' consuming value and consuming quality are the low consuming quality and level, the economic conditions, the family living conditions, the low match level, the consuming environment and resource, few places for the exercises, few entertainment activities, little leisure time and the expensive sports products. 3) Compared with Zhejiang, Hunan and Sichuan, the consumption on the sports in Jiangxi of the students is less than that in these three provinces. The factors of the structure and motivation of the consumption on the sports are different. The consumption lever is lower and the ways and choices are narrower. 4) The features vary from groups to groups. The values, arrangements, ranks, ways and levels on the consumption differ between the students in cities and the students in rural areas. The students in rural areas consume the sports are directed by the value and the acceptable price. The students in cities are the main group that consumes the sport clothes, hats and shoes and the vital group that buys the sport books and papers.
