Information technology and geography course integration is now very popular in geography education innovation. Blended Learning is a new trend of the Curriculum and Information Technology Integration. It integrates the traditional face-to-face interaction model in classroom with self-paced E-Learning model in internet. It has an important significance for geography education innovation.This thesis has five chapters in all. Chapter 1 is an introduction part. There are three parts in this Chapter. Part 1 shows the definitions of Blended Learning in Chinese and foreign educational circles. Part 2 analyzes the background of Blended Learning naissance by reviewing the development process of IT integrating with curriculum. The last part described the inevitability and the significance of Blended Learning for education innovation. Chapter 2 enumerates some forms and principles of Blended Learning in geography education. Chapter 3 constructs a blended learning model which fit for geography education, and it's elements which consist of three basic factors and three structural factors and some implement strategies are also described in this chapter. Chapter 4 gives an example of Blended Learning implement in geography information technology education in middle school. Introduced the classroom study design, the self-paced study design and how they are integrated. Chapter 5 is the conclusion part and some challenges of Blended Learning are also discussed in this part.It comes to the conclusion that Blended Learning implement should concentrate on the classroom geography education, and try to change and optimize the role of the teacher, student and study material in geography education structure, and construct a proper learning environment with information technology. Finally, try to establish a set of theories and the implement modules of the information technique and geography course integration which suitable for the present situation of our country.
