Mathematics is one of the most essential and important subjects in the compulsory education of junior high school. Therefore the education of maths in this period should embody characteristics of being popular, basic and developing, make it face all the students and achieve the goal "Everybody can learn the valuable maths; Everybody can gain the necessary maths knowledge; and different people can make his own progress in maths" (The Standard Implementing Compendium of Mathematics). Howard Gardiner has studied psychology, pedagogy and artistic education for many years, proved that the human mind and the manner that man uses to cognize this world are pluralistic and concluded that there are at least seven ways of mind in human brain. On the base of this theory, he made the definitions of seven human aptitudes, which is the aptitudes of language, logic, mathematics, music, the movement of human body, space, relationships between men and self-realization. Mr. Gardiner also thinks that everyone is born to have the potential of owning these seven aptitudes and even more in some extent. So the environment and education play an important role in exploiting and cultivating these intelligent potential. The ability to learn maths is in accordance with different persons. Everyone has his own dominant aptitude. So how to exploit the students' dominant potentials during maths learning, mainly depends on teachers' taping and exploiting students' ability to self-realize, which is the activation of introspective potential. That is the very foothold, springboard and value of this academic thesis. This thesis is with the guidance of pluralistic intelligence and reference to the basic concept of the new course criterion, a combination of the advanced education theories, such as non-intelligent elements, the education of adaptability and happy education, etc. adopts the method of demonstration, make the math activities as its carrier, obtains the firsthand materials through the communicative manners of observation, interview, investigation and teaching diary, etc., monitors the students' improvement and progress in introspective potential all the time and takes notes and instructs well in order to accelerate the optimization of the way that students learn maths, improve the study result and realize the transference of the ability to learn maths, meanwhile gain the aim of study's serving practice.
