All over the world nowadays, it is a significant uptrend to pay attention to the educational quality in the kindergartens. In china, we do well in the urban kindergartens. By contrast, in the rural areas there is a great disparity in the management, environment buildings and the quality of teachers. In the 10th five-year-plan, the emphases and difficulties in developing infant education both are in rural. In order to realize the whole development of the infants education, it not only lets rural preschool children obtain equality chances to receive education, but also lets them obtain quality-assured preschool institution education. As for the quality of the preschool institution education, the process-quality is more immediate and important for the influences of the development of the children. To improve the quality of education under the present substances in Gansu province, the starting point should be lied on the improvement of the process-quality education.The study adopted the objective-sample method .The main study objects are 46 rural kindergartens and some teachers among them in the city of Lanzhou, Baiyin and Pingliang. Through questionnaire investigating, observing and interviewing , this thesis makes analysis on the teachers' behavior, the curriculum, the learning environment, the communication between kindergarten and family.The study shows: Teachers emphasizing the initiating of the knowledge and skills, despising the development of the sensibility sociality; teachers having more criticizing but less praising; teachers' educational conception lagging behind; teachers' behaviors more straitlaced; the cooperation and communication between kindergarten and family not unblocked; lacking of the interesting and encouraging learning atmosphere in kindergarten. Aiming at those problems, the following suggestions are put forward: l.building the "equality dialogue" between the teachers and the children in the education process;2.advancing the status of the games and strengthening the purposeful guidance; 3.paying attention to the individual differences among the children especially in the mixed-age class; 4.the curriculum being closed related to the rural life and to the children's life; 5.constructing the exterior sustaining system of the teachers' behavior.Only by exert educational common efforts it can well advance the improvement of educational quality, make the rural infants share the high quality of infant education, and well accelerate infants to develop healthily, lively and vividly.
