Developing the skill of middle school students studying geographic pictures (SMSSSGP) has many clear advantages, which will be good for them all through their life. This paper focuses on how to develop the SMSSSGP on the light of new conceptions of curriculum innovation, and modern theories of geography teaching, educational psychology and other relevant sciences.
