Moral Education is an important part of school education, but the practical results of moral education in reality are always relatively low. This article employs the method of regional monographic study on comparative education to make a systematic analysis on the historical and present conditions, characteristics and channels, experience and problem of the moral education in Japanese primary and secondary schools. Then some valuable methods on the reform of our primary and secondary schools will be provided.This article can be divided into two parts: the preface and the body. The body is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the historical evolution of the moral education in Japanese primary and secondary schools. It intends to illustrate the development process from the pre-war politicalism to the post-war scientification of the moral education in Japanese primary and secondary schools education. The second part expounds the present condition of its moral education from the aspects of purpose, content, channel and method. The third part proposes the detailed comment on moral education in Japanese primary and secondary schools, and mainly analyzes its characteristics, gains and losses. The fourth part is the enlightenment and suggestions for the moral education of our primary and secondary schools. Based on the above research, this part also focuses on the problems of our primary and secondary schools* education, and then gives some relevant advice to strengthen the initiative, creativity, focalization and practical results of our moral education in Japanese primary and secondary schools. Then the aim of comprehensively improving the moral quality of our primary and secondary schools students will be achieved.
