Evaluation of teaching behaviors in class, a procedure to evaluate teachers' classroom performance, should be placed in the background of the curriculum reform undergoing in basic education. This paper, starting from teacher fellows' point and confining itself into classroom performance of the teachers, analyzes the demands and the challenges laid out by the curriculum reform, as well as reviews traditional practice on teachers' evaluation. Afterwards, it comes up with its own ideas on teachers' evaluation aiming to improve teachers' quality. By employing the research methods of documental analysis, observation, survey and interview, the paper continues to work over the topic from both quantitative and qualitative aspects, managing to establish a system of indexes to value teachers' classroom behaviors. This system of indexes has received examinations of validity and credibility, with comparatively satisfying results. In the end, comments have been made on the insufficiencies of the system of indexes and its further improvement.
