In the era of intellectual economic, the talents are the most important resources for their initiative and creativity, which are the most valuable advantages in practical use. The degree of teachers' job atisfaction is a kind of explainable affection and emotional reaction to their job, working treatment and working condition. The lower or higher satisfaction to work directly influences teachers' exertion of initiative and creativeness in work. So the study on degree of teachers' job satisfaction facilitates the understanding of teachers' psychological factors such as their attitudes of occupation, enthusiasm for teaching and initiative in working which directly influence the teaching quality, at the same time, it is helpful to improve the management of the school.Being based on the interviews of the junior high school teachers from Baoan District, the study focuses on discussing the structure and the status of teachers' job satisfaction and extends the scope of research on job satisfaction. This study not only fills a gap in research on the structure of teachers' satisfaction in Baoan District of Shenzhen, but also it develops the theory of job satisfaction and the study of educational organization behavior. Moreover, this study provides a surveying tool in the research on the degrees of satisfaction of the junior high school teachers. This study, which adopts a practical way to analyse the job satisfaction of these teachers, has relatively strong aim and effectiveness. Its results can offer some references to schools in talent management and scientific strategy.The study works out a questionnaire, which concerns job satisfaction of junior high school teachers with literature reviews and teachers' interviews as its foundation, to investigate the situation of these teachers and analyze the structure of questionnaire and teachers' satisfaction to work with some effective data. Then the author puts forward corresponding suggestions and consults for schools' management according to the investigation results.This thesis consists of the following parts:1. Literature review. This part is the basis of designing the questionnaire which reviews the study of this topic in China and abroad.2. Questionnaire analyses. In this part, after analyzing the items and factors of the questionnaire and explaining in detail the structure, the content, the index of reliability and effectiveness of the questionnaire, the author comes to the following conclusions: (1) the questionnaire has a relatively high reliability and effectiveness; (2) the job satisfaction of the junior high school teachers consist of a general satisfaction and eight dimensions including the job nature, school management, labor intensity, colleague relationship, the benefits and payments, school condition, teacher's vocational study and support from society.3. The analyses of teachers' job satisfaction The author particularly analyses the different degrees of satisfaction by using the methods such as description and statistic, variance analysic. Thus coming to the following conclusions: (1) the job satisfaction of teachers in Baoan District of Shenzhen city is beyond the medium level, among them, the teachers' satisfaction to school condition is in highest level, and other items that reaching the satisfied degree include the school condition, colleague relationship, the nature of job and the situation of advanced study in turn. The teachers express their dissatisfaction to the intensity of labor and show their mentium, atisfaction to other factors. (2)The influence of different gender and the different size of school to teachers' satisfaction are not obvious, while the male teachers' satisfaction to work is higher than that of female teachers in school management and labor intensity. The age and the title of a technical post to the whole job's satisfaction are closely related, e.g. those teachers who are 31-40 years old and have intermediate technical post express lower satisfaction...
