The Research On Discipline Construction Planning Of Chinese Research University

More and more researchers and organization leaders have noticed that the most active and decisive factors are talents resources in the development process of globalization in the world economy. The competition among countries is ultimately the competition of talents. So the university plays more and more importance role in our society. With the entrance of 21st century, university, especially the research university, plays important role on our politics, economy and culture fields. Discipline is the basic unit and carrier of the essential structure and function realization in research universities. It's also the ultimate criterion used to judge the academic level, comprehensive strength and social reputation of a university.This paper consists of six sections. Section one introduces the background, objectives, significance, research trends in China and foreign countries, the main content of the research and research method. Section two is about the theoretical basis of the discipline construction planning in Chinese research universities. Section three is the analysis of the planning content and principle during the program of establishing the discipline construction, etc. Section four studies on the current situation of the discipline construction planning in Chinese research universities. Section five presents a few of suggestions in accordance of with the problems . Section six copes with the conclusion.
