IT integrated biology teaching in middle school is an important project for future education development. IT can vividly show the contents of a course in biology. It can make the students to master biological knowledge easily. It is helpful to improve the students' ability of practical skills and innovation thinking. It also can help the students to master modern methods of learning through the computers. The purpose of this study was to investigate the means and practical activities of IT integrated biology teaching in middle school. Referred to the scholars' points on the basis of the constructivism theory as well as reviewing the history of IT integrated teaching, the author expounded the definition of IT integrated biology teaching in middle school in his opinion. IT integrated biology teaching in middle school is a new-style teaching which can shift in the roles of teachers and students from teacher-centered to learner-centered. The manner the students interact with the teachers depends on the computers in the course of teaching. Directed by some principles and goals, the study discusses the methods of teaching preparation, new lessons, reviews, tests, project learning and distance teaching. Some good cases of the author were listed. At last, this study discussed some problems which haven't be settled in practice at present. This study completely brought forward the theory of IT integrated biology teaching in middle school and the modes of practice with some typical cases for other people.
