Informationization is now the main trend of both the global economy development and social development. Since the information technology, which is the nucleus of the multimedia and national computer network, has become the creative instrument to expand the human power, information accomplishment has also become a necessity for all the people in the modern society. All nations of the world hold quite positive attitudes to speed their information education progression because the development of information technology is regarded as the major strategic target of the social and economic development in 21st century.In China, the teacher-centered classroom pedagogy is the traditional education model, and the students are as passive as containers in these classrooms. But, this kind of pedagogical method can not meet the requirement of the global informationazation. To make education informationalized, China education department has put forward that the information technology education must be universalized to speed the integration process of information technology and pedagogy. Only in this way, can education be geared up by informationalization and we can turn the strategic requirement of speeding up the development of basic education into realization.Thanks to the characteristics of biology, its combination with the information technology is easier compared with other subjects. At present, the theories of the integration of relationship information technology and subjects are as many as necessary though; their applications are far from being systematic and complete. The most mentionable is that the study of the biology application is quite rare. Owing to all the above reasons, it is significantly important to investigate the integration of the information technology and biology pedagogy.Based on the investigation of both the integration of the information technology and biology pedagogy in junior high school and its application, this study can enrich our pedagogy models and advance their efficiency in this area. In the meantime, it can also take a role as the pioneer in the process of reforming the biology pedagogy. Through the application of the integration, this study verifies the effect by information technology on the biology pedagogy and leads this integration more scientific and standardized. Thus, this study can be a source of theoretical and applicable reference for the future integration of the information technology and biology pedagogy in junior high school.The methodologies are literature research and action research. By literature consultation and study, the implication of the integration of information technology and pedagogical subjects is first illustrated in the theoretical survey. Then this implication is further analyzed in the perspective of systematic theory, education theory, acquisition theory, information dissemination. And following that, this thesis also investigates the integration strategies and principles to make a solid theoretical base for efficient integration application.Almost one year's pedagogical application grounded on this integration shows that the integration of information technology and biology classroom pedagogy can optimize the teaching and learning process, promote the efficiency, arouse the students'interest. So it can exert the students'subjective role, make them more likely to participate in the whole process and promote their self-study abilities and nurture their information accomplishment. And also, by this model, as it can expand the depth and width of the teaching contents, the students can broaden their views.The deficiency of the study is as follows: Firstly, the study in the national computer network circumstance is somewhat haphazardry and not very efficient. More study should be done in the aspects of the width, the depth and the volutariness of participancy. This study also needs a reliable evaluation method. Thirdly, the integration of information technology and teaching subjects is a gradual process and this integration should be adopted in the everyday classroom pedagogy with the development of new technology.
