Content: The current class teaching evaluation system of the primary and secondary schools is not suitable for the new curriculum notion and the curriculum standards, therefore, it calls for an immediate reform. The quality, effect of the system as well as whether it is scientific or not are of great importance to the improvement of teaching quality, they are also the key to the success of curriculum reform in basic education.This article focuses on an analysis of the present research of the current class teaching evaluation, with an attempt to make a probe into the value orientation of the class teaching evaluation from the perspective of axiology. The general value orientations which evaluate human behaviors are good intentions, truth, benefits and beauty. This article makes a brief analysis of these orientations and tries to make a further probe into them from the perspective of the new curriculum notion. By doing so, the class teaching evaluation can provide a better guidance for the performance of class teaching.
