College vocational education, as a result of the policy of "science-education motivated nation prosper"and nationwide practice of "capacity education", makes up the defects of "test education"and open up a new way for the students of technical secondary school, mechanic school and vocational school to enter college and institution. The purpose of college vocational education is to train all kinds of technical staff for the socialism construction cause, fully increase workers'quality, help improve the construction of socialism spiritual civilization, socialism political civilization and socialism material civilization as well as the development of economy and social advancement. More attention is due to be paid on college vocational education. However, from the practical effects in recent years, many problems are found in moral education, an important part of college vocational education, especially, when the issue of its efficiency has become the research focus in the field of theory and education. Up to now, there is no concrete syllabus about the moral education in vocational college. Local schools have to refer to the moral syllabus of university or vocational school, which leads to dissatisfactory effects. Therefore, the thesis will provide the scheme research on improving efficiency of moral education as well as a case for moral education in vocational college study. Moral education in vocational college is a moral activity in the education stage of vocational college, and is a kind of education practice for excellent moral and vocational psychology quality of all kinds of technical staff. The trait of college vocational education determines the basic specialties of moral education of vocational college: vocational, applicable and practical. Meanwhile, moral education of vocational college has its unique specialties: social, individual and educational. Since the economic reform, great progress is achieved in moral education of vocational college. Structure system of moral education is formed basically and the purpose of moral education of vocational college is founded. That is to train and improve students'political quality, thinking quality, and moral quality. That is to form their correct political stand, thinking consciousness and moral value. That is to help them to develop scientific view of world, scientific view of life, scientific view of value. And that is to cultivate them into new socialism generation with ideals, good moral, knowledge and being disciplined. During this period, many good social practices and varied meaning culture activities are taken up and a new characterized education method is developed. On the other hand, lots of moral education problems should not be neglected. First problem is the challenge modern ideas against traditional ones. Second one is the change of education target. Third, due to the great development of communication, the narrow gap exists between school and society. Fourth, in both teaching and managing, the education in vocational college is not systematic, lack of criterion, compared with university and middle school. On the part of students'thinking and behaviors, the first kind of problems are the lack of motivation, weak social responsibility, the lack of hard working and high expect in vocation choosing, in spite of strong wish for knowledge and quick study ability. Second, they have too strong self-consciousness, obvious contradictory attitude, emotional work method and the lack of consistence. Third, they have strong competitive spirit, but lack the correct understanding of their social responsibility and weak cooperation concept. Fourth, they have the idea of participant, but regard emotion carelessly, and take it as an honor. Fifth, they have a wide range of interests, but only care about appearance, neglect the connotation. In the new situation, the thesis makes a lot of analysis. Inner causes include 1. Understanding cause: there existed position mistake of the moral education and understanding mistake on its content and task. 2. Choice of content cause: there existed tendency of politics and tendency of utility. 3. Content cause: there existed content idealization and design absolution and old content. 4. Method application cause: there existed the forcing application and paying much attention on form. Outer causes include education is not suitable for the development, function is not consistent with influence, and the difficulties due to increasing of enrollment. From the above analysis, it is obvious that the students are upward, generally, their value system is consistent with the main one in society. They are the generation with the reform and the direct benefit takers of the times. They are filled with thanks to the Party and our government. They have a certain understanding of the socialism ideal and the advantages of our system. But, in the deeper layer, they do not fully understand the complicated international situation and the rule of social development. Some of them show indifference to the politics.
