A Comparative Research On Education Of Master Of Engineering Between China And U.S.A

The education of ME (Master of Engineering) is a new education form, it' s history is short but it's progress is rapid. As the center of higher education in the world, the trend of U.S.A.'s higher education is representative and guidable in recent 100 years. The aim of comparing the ME education between the two countries is to know it more deeply and service it better.The studies of the ME education includes many aspects, the thesis mainly compares three aspects of it.The first comparison is about the history of ME of China and America. Different culture and Education institution influence a education form greatly. Through the history, the present state can be understood more clearly. There are many familiarities between the two countries, the differences exist in university' s independence and the government' s support.The second comparison is about the admission system of ME of China and America. The admission systems of two countries is stem from their postgraduate admission systems, but they have their own characteristics. China reform the entrance examination system of ME, and GCT-ME entrance examination system is adopted.
