New Chinese Language criteria require student's comprehensive improvement of Chinese language, which needs the support of Chinese ability and fundament. The subject of Chinese is a tool in quality. The proper appliance of the tool is to understand and use the language skillfully. The form of the ability is base on adequate practice while the new criteria seem to speak little about the relationship between the educating and practice.Consulting the form of Chinese practice theories and based on Jiangsu primary Chinese experimental textbook, the present study probed the characteristics of the practice of the experimental textbook of Jiangsu province. Firstly the study introduced the background of the experimental textbook and analyzed the relationship of criteria and teaching materials. Secondly general theories were expatiated on, and history of theory development reviewed. In this part, the author restricted the connotation of practice system and discussed the content and the function of it. Thirdly the author stated concretely the content, features, and gave an objectively evaluation after comparing with a version of People Education Press. Besides some questions were discussed on the system and the textbook.
