Teachers are the main body of teaching and also the key point to the success of school education. Teachers' job satisfactory degree is the major human resources and basic motive force which affect the healthy development of schools.With 400 teachers in 5 vocational colleges in Lanzhou as research object,with the interview and questionnaire as the main methods,this article has give a deep research on the job satisfactory degree in vocational colleges.The research has discovered some ideas as follows:1. The job satisfactory degree of the teacher in vocational colleges has generally shown the situation of "high satisfactory degree and low job achievement" and the social evaluation of the job is a bit higher than medium.This is inconsistent with the research presumption.2. There is no obvious sexual distinction between men teachers and women teachers in job satisfactory degree and this is inconsistent with the research presumption.Men teachers are more satisfactory than women teachers in the self-realization and social approval;while women teachers are more satisfactory than men teachers in the job gravitation, organization promise and job input.3. There are obvious differences between theory-class teacher and teachers supervising the experiment and practice, full-time teachers and part-time teachers, teachers with high professional post and teachers with middle and low professional post and this is inconsistent with the research presumption.The job satisfactory degree of part-time teachers,theory-class teachers and teachers with high professional post are higher than full-time teachers,teachers supervising the experiment and teachers with high professional post.4. The self-realization, relationship with leaders and the social approval are the chief factors which affect the job satisfactory degree and this confirms to the research presumption.The income and pressure are not the chief factors which affect the job satisfactory degree and this doesn't confirm to the research presumption.5. Generally, teachers are not satisfied with their students' quality.6. The age,teaching years and academic credentials are closely related with many factors which affect the job satisfactory degree.There is a tendency that the older the teachers are,the longer teaching years they have, the more satisfied they are with the job;the higher academic credentials they have,the less satisfied they are and this confirms to the research presumption.7. The job satisfactory degree of teachers in vocational colleges differ greatly form the teachers in primary schools,middle school and general colleges and this is consistent with the research presumption.Based on these above,some measures are proposed as follows:treating teachers fairly,meeting teachers'demands,concerning for teachers,creating an open organizational environment,building communicating channels,enriching the job content,disposing the talents rationally,optimizing the working environment and so on.
