The long stiff education has made teaching of Chinese into a dead lane, it locks up the students in several old text-books and some complex exercises, and it overlooks the activities outside the lesson, so it is the result in narrow field of vision, poor knowledge and lacking high spirit, which leads to the decline of students culture quality. At the same time, the teaching and research about the reading activities outside Chinese lesson is a weak link in Chinese education now. In accordance with this condition, the essay is according to "Chinese new course standard for full-day education", and come out of the students' reading psychology, put forward the theory of text, then extends to outside, extends form schools to society, so it can exert highly the function of out-text reading, it also makes up for the in-text reading, enlarges the reading range, increase reading quantities and raises the basic quality, and it will also be the base of study forever. It is a useful way of enlarging students' reading range and deepening reading levels to build " extending reading system" in Chinese teaching, it can be used easily, it is also one of the effective tactics to raise the teaching efficiency of Chinese out-text reading,, it has guided sense to how to develop the activities of out-text reading teaching.
