| The fast development of information technology, typically multimedia and network, is changing the environment that we live in and our way of learning. In recent two years, Blog, which is a new developed technique in information times has got extensive application in numerous professions and realm. It has also permeated through the information-based education gradually. In this text the principle and techniques of Blog are introduced into the class teaching and applied in fulfillment. Some trials were carried out on managing the class and the course teaching etc with Blog. While setting up the Class Blog named Youth Fly, the writer probes into the function of the Class Blog in educating and teaching.This text is made up of five parts.The first part is the introduction of the concept and technique characteristics of the Blog. It also introduces the application of Blog at home and abroad. Based on analyzing the shortages of the traditional class website, it puts forward setting up the Class Blog terrace with Blog technique.In the second part, after discussing various ways of setting up the Blog terrace, the writer the chooses the OBlog software based on the technique of ASP to take the secondary exploitation with campus net server as the terrace for setting up the Class Blog.The third and the fourth part are the main body of the thesis. By analyzing the cases of managing class, the course teaching and student study, the writer inquires into the function of the Class Blog in education, teaching, evaluation and the development of students and teachers in primary and junior high school.After tallying up the result of the experiment, in the fifth part the writer points out the meaning, the limit and the future of the research. With educators' further research on the function of Blog on education, the techniques of Blog will effectively promote the development of information-based education in the fields of communicating between teachers and students, co-study and knowledge management.
