With the ongoing reform of curriculum in the basic education and the development of thenew curriculum of senior physics, it has become an urgent problem that how to stimulatestudents' interest and initiative to study and to improve their abilities of science inquiry thusreflect the notion of Physics Curriculum Standards.This paper is based on the need of the physics curriculum reform and regards the inquiryinstruction as the effective way to the new curriculum implementation. Through research oninquiry instruction strategies for senior physics in the information technology environment,this paper aims to integrate information technology into inquiry instruction and to offer afavorable way for implementation of the new senior physics curriculum.With the integration theories of information technology and Physics and the notion ofPhysics Curriculum teaching and the features of inquiry instruction for senior physics, thispaper analyzes the usages of it, under which constructs a system of the strategies to inquiryinstruction for senior physics. Finally, we testify it for effectiveness by case design andimplementation, based on discussions and analysis.
