Up to the present, when many people talked of the influence laid on them by the works of Lu Xun, the items they always mention are mostly covered in middle school Chinese textbooks, which has played an important role in publicizing, popularizing, inheriting and developing the spirit of Lu Xun. Without doubt, for most Chinese and Chinese intellectual, learning the works of Lu Xun though the textbooks has already been and also will be the main road and the starting point to get to know and get approached to Lu Xun. So the author made a revision of the extracts and their comments which appear in the Chinese textbooks, considering the important position of Lu Xun in Chinese literature history and in middle school Chinese teaching. Based on that, the author made a summary of the present state in middle school Chinese teaching, from the aspect of the teaching concept change, the works selection, and the reaching achievement. And meanwhile, the author also made a reflection on the teaching of Lu Xun's, including the reflection on the learning effect, teaching effect, teaching research, teaching level, and the teaching tendency, teaching assessment, 6 respects. Finally, the consideration and outlook of the teaching Lu Xun's have been showed in the article from 8 aspects as well, from the teaching value, teaching method, teaching units, spirit clue, literature charm, sticking to the original, and explanations. Today, when Chinese teaching is developing further, how to make the teaching of Lu Xun's more effectively, and how to bridge the Lu Xun research and middle school Chinese teaching, the author made a contributing exploration, hoping that the work of Lu Xun and other masters would light up the middle school students. For students, the exploration could cultivate their abilities in Chinese learning and could raise their realizations in humanism and help them develop more harmoniously.
