At present one of the main aims of teaching reform is to change the teacher-oriented teaching module into a new one to develop the activity of the students as well as the role of the guiding of the teacher in classroom teaching, which will surely cause a all-way change in teaching content, teaching means and teaching method. This reform will bring about great changes in teaching procedures so that it will have deep influence on educational ideas and theories. So it is more significant and difficult than the reform in teaching method and teaching means.A Learning-plan-first teaching module in senior geography teaching is systematically studied, through teaching experiments, questionnaire, conversations, special cases. This paper is divided into three parts. Part One deals with the content, theory base, development and features of modern teaching modules;How to carry out the teaching module is introduced in Part Two, based on a half year of contrast teaching experiments;In Part Three, The experimental results of this teaching module are investigated and analyzed. They have proved that the teaching module can improve students' active and creative abilities of analyzing problems and solving problems.Nowadays, there are more research in education theories than in practice in China. So with the reform tide of education, it is quite necessary to do some research on classroom module from theory to practice.
