The modern information technology has significantly influenced the traditional concept, curriculum, execution and resource in education.. As the development of IT and the progress of education innovation, exploration of the integration between IT and science education has become an inevitable trend and a necessary requirement for education development in our country.The traditional teaching method of physics has faced a serious challenge to move forward in secondary vocational education practice. In order to make the physics teaching successful in secondary vocational colleges, we should constantly adopt new teaching ideas and explore new teaching methods. Optimization of the physics teaching by applying the modern IT will bring a refresh air to the physic teaching in secondary vocational education. Therefore, in order to explore how to integrate IT and physics teaching in secondary vocational colleges with new education concept is very important to reform of the physic teaching in secondary vocational education.This thesis has established theoretical foundations of integration between IT and physics teaching in secondary vocational education by applying literature survey, interview, observation and case study, etc. To face the challenges in current physics teaching practice in secondary vocational education, the thesis analyzes the possibility to integrate IT into physics teaching and the impact on secondary vocational education. Based on many teaching case study, the thesis proposes three teaching models of integration between IT and physics teaching to guide the physics teaching practice in secondary vocational education. It also analyzes and compares their features and summarizes their effectiveness in teaching practice. Meantime, the thesis also foresees the future research development in this field.The thesis is composed of 5 chapters. In chapter 1, the research background and outcoming, the purposes and the methodology are described. In chapter 2, the author defines the concepts of the integration between IT and physics teaching and proposes the theoretical foundation for the study. In Chapter 3, based on the analysis of the current situations and issues in secondary vocational education, the thesis describes the possibility and the function of integration between IT and physics teaching. Chapter 4 is the core of this thesis. Based on teaching practice, the thesis summarizes three teaching models of integration between IT and physics teaching: teacher demonstration integration model, self-approaching model, and research learning model on website. The teaching case examples are described for each proposed model, which are approved of being very practical and effective in physics education for secondary vocational college. Finally, thethesis summarizes and reviews the integration practice in physics teaching in order to provide some guidance for the future practice in physics teaching in secondary vocational college.
