Mathematical Intuitive Thinking And Cultivation

We have paid so much attention to the development of students' logical thinking skills, but little to the development of illogical thinking skills, such as intuitive thinking. In fact, both logical and illogical thinkings play the important role in revealing the essence of things and their relations. They are supportive and dependent to each other. Researchers have not carried out detailed investigations into how and why intuitive thinking occurs.In this thesis, we review the literatures about the characteristics of mathematical intuitive thinking, its role in mathematics learning. We also use examples to show how to help students develop their intuitive thinking. We also compare the logical thinking and mathematical intuitive thinking and explore their interdependent relationship.
