This kind of psychological stress which comes from occupation has great negative influence on teachers, meanwhile it also directly or indirectly affects the education and teaching in school. The research and investigation about the teachers' stress can make us have a clear understanding of the whole situation of teachers' stress and its affecting factors. Thus the scientific basis for improving and strengthening the educational management can be offered. This research adopted the plait questionnaires. 165 teachers from three public secondary schools in Shenzhen Luohu District were asked to finish the questionnaires. The study mainly analyzes the general situation of teachers' stress and the relationship between teachers' personal characteristics and the differences of stress. Percentages and ANOVA were used to analyze the data. The present study suggests that:Compared with others, teachers have bigger stress. The students' problems and occupational characteristics are the biggest sources of stress, while self-development and education teaching reform respectively have the least and secondly less stress on teachers. As to each item, in the students' problems the index rate of entering higher schools, the number of students in a class and the students' marks in usual examinations bring the biggest stress to teachers. In the occupational characteristics, the teachers' roles, homework's correction and the after-school tutorship make bigger stress on teachers.Owing to the teachers' stress caused variously, from three levels including society, school and personality, the paper puts forward some strategies for reducing Luohu secondary teachers' stress, which are for reference only: The first, constructing a good social environment of psychology. It means the government should set up related policies which are good for teachers, and construct a social environment in which the school, the society, and the family cooperate to educate children. The second, constructing a good campus environment. That is to set up a "people-centre" harmonious environment incampus, to reform the evaluation system for teachers, to build up a developing evaluation system for teachers, to strengthen the principals' training in order to improve their leading abilities, to change their leading ways, and to establish the ways of teachers' training in school. The third, teachers should actively master the methods of mental adjustment, including being good at regulating one's emotions, diligently improving one's characters and levels, studying and understanding the knowledge of mental health and mental consultation, and periodically seeking psychological advice from experts as well.
